Rainbow Crocheter Tee

in 1978 Gilbert Baker of San Francisco came up with a new symbol to represent the LGBTQ community: the iconic rainbow flag. It was first used as a display at that year’s gay freedom day parade. 

Today the rainbow flag continues to represent a safe space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
